The Contract Packaging Association is strongly committed to protecting your privacy online and has taken steps to protect the information you share with us. For example, we use encryption technology to safeguard your credit card data used in electronic commerce transactions. To help us protect your privacy, you should maintain the secrecy of the logon ID and password you may have set up in connection with your participation in any Contract Packaging Association service
The Contract Packaging Association does collect certain personal information in order to provide you with customized services, content, and advertisements. Some personal information is gathered when you register to receive certain Contract Packaging Association services or products. We may also ask you for personal information at other times, for example when you complete a survey or form, or enter a sweepstakes, contest, or other promotion. The better we know you, the better we can tailor our services to meet your needs.

This privacy policy applies only to the Contract Packaging Association Web site and does not apply to other Contract Packaging Association products and services.
Data Privacy Framework Notice
Contract Packaging Association complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom to the United States. Contract Packaging Association has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Data Privacy Framework Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Data Privacy Framework Principles, the Data Privacy Framework Principles shall govern. In compliance with the Data Privacy Framework Principles, Contract Packaging Association commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information. EU, Swiss and UK individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Data Privacy Framework policy should first contact Contract Packaging Association at dataprivacy@pmmi.org. Contract Packaging Association has further committed to cooperate with the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs), the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) with regard to unresolved Data Privacy Framework complaints concerning data transferred from the EU, the UK, and Switzerland.
You may contact your local data protection authority within the European Economic Area, the UK, or Mexico (as applicable) for unresolved complaints. Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Data Privacy Framework website, including when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted, you may invoke binding arbitration.
Under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Framework, we are responsible for the processing of information about you we receive from the EU, the UK, and Mexico and onward transfers to a third party acting as an agent on our behalf. We comply with the Data Privacy Framework Principles for such onward transfers and remain liable in accordance with the Data Privacy Framework Principles if third-party agents that we engage to process such information about you on our behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Data Privacy Framework Principles, unless we prove that we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
Contract Packaging Association may disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
We are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
